John is an elected member of the Society of Canadian Artists and a member of the Arts & Letters Club, Toronto. Originally from Scotland, his enthusiasm for the landscape truly became an obsession after his arrival in Canada in 1989. Painting has been John’s passion for almost 30 years. Nature and the play of light upon the landscape are endless sources of inspiration.
