Linda Doran has returned to Southampton, after having lived in Ottawa for thirty-three years. As a former preschool teacher, ‘dabbling’ in paint was a daily occurrence. I enjoy painting scenes with local landmarks, often using children to add a’whimsical’ touch and a bit of ‘naughty’ humour! Acrylics are vibrant and dry quickly to allow for multitasking on the canvas. Whether it’s creating childhood memories, or using my imagination, each painting is small, but chalk full of action, creating a fun, upbeat scen |
