Pat Hagen was born in Port Dover, Ontario. After moving to both Floridaand Michiganin his youth, Pat settled in Southampton, Ontario.

Pat has been surrounded by wood all of his life – Carolinian wood has been central to his woodworking interests. Pat is mostly self-taught and has also studied with Paul Ross and

    Pat specializes in fine decorative wood turning with an emphasis on the wood. He naturalistically incorporates the use of antler, shell, soapstone and semi-precious stones/gems and metals in his work. He is represented by the SouthamptonArtGalleryand the MacNamara Gallery in Paisley, Ontario.

Pat’s antler horn-topped carved canes and mixed media boxes are local favourites and demonstrate his unique flair and artistry.
