Meghan (Fitzsimmons) Clouatre was born and raised in Owen Sound where she attended O.S.C.V.I. before going to University to pursue her interest in art. After graduating with First-Class Standing from the Honours Visual Arts program at Brock University, St. Catharines in 2003, she returned home to set up a studio and get involved with the community that motivated her to become and artist in the first place.

Meghan started a studio based business called everly art productions in the spring of 2004 with the goal of creating and showing not only her own artwork, but to make sure the art community would remain strong with the presence of a new generation of artists. In the past few years Meghan has been increasingly involved with a number of projects aimed at promoting the culture of art in Grey Bruce including the creation of Owen Sound’s City Hall Art Crawl and holding the position of Chair of Art Town for two years. February 2007 marked a new chapter in her career when she accepted the position of Director at the Southampton Art School.
